Childbearing and what comes after: “I’ve been an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife for eight years now, specializing in women’s health since graduating nursing school in 2010. Starting in labor and delivery, I became a nurse midwife to provide comprehensive care to women beyond pregnancy, particularly addressing menopause and the needs of women with a history of breast cancer.”
Empathetic support, informed care: “Watching my mom undergo breast cancer treatment almost 13 years ago shaped my practice today. Alongside radiation and the physical changes, we encountered healthcare providers who lacked expertise in managing women’s health during cancer-induced early menopause. This experience prompted me to pursue an advanced practice degree eight years ago, and fueled my dedication to women’s care.”
