From labor to lifelong care: “I began my journey as a nurse nearly 20 years ago. My first role out of nursing school was as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, where I spent nine years, but I wanted to continue working with women at every phase, so I pursued further education to become a Nurse Practitioner. For the past 11 years, I’ve been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and have been passionately serving in this capacity.”

Walking along with you: “I was once told that I would grow alongside my patients, and that turned out to be absolutely true. As I’ve aged alongside the patient groups I care for, I’ve encountered many of the same issues they face, helping me empathize and provide tailored support to them. My journey has become not only one of personal growth but also a commitment to better serve those under my care.”

Evidence-based care: “With access to better data and the support of science, empowering women with medical information is crucial. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing the tangible results: Knowing that we can enhance their quality of life, extend their lifespan, and ultimately make them feel truly understood.”
