Expanding from childbirth: “I began my nursing career in maternity, witnessing the resilience of women and their bond with their children. This experience inspired me to go back to school, and I have now worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over 15 years. I’ve provided OB/GYN and primary care, focusing on teenagers, reproductive-age women, and those in the menopause transition.”

A typical success story: “One patient comes to mind, a woman in her 50s presenting low libido, depression, and fears about her relationship due to physical symptoms hindering her desire for intimacy. Her symptoms were impacting her physically, emotionally, and in her relationship. Together, we explored treatment options, and after three months, she came back reporting significant improvement across the board, noting that she’d had referred me to all of her friends.”

Knowledge is power: “I’m passionate about empowering women with both knowledge and tools for their health, particularly through preventive measures. Through evidence based care, I help them understand what lies ahead, what’s possible, and how to navigate their health without complications.”
