Bridging care gaps: “My nursing journey began in 2013, transitioning to labor and delivery in 2015, where my passion for women’s health ignited. I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019, specializing in women’s health. Over the years, I’ve worked in various women’s health and reproductive care settings, and I repeatedly noticed menopause concerns go overlooked. Driven by a desire to address gaps in patient care, I joined Midi to advocate for all women navigating this transition.”

Breaking taboos through open dialogue: “Many patients feel uncomfortable discussing menopausal issues, whether because of stigma or past experiences with clinicians. I reassure my patients that it’s a natural phase of life and that they don’t have to endure it silently. Creating a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere encourages them to discuss any issues openly.”

Listening is key: “There’s no universal solution applicable to every patient. Each individual is entirely unique. Responses to treatments can vary significantly from one person to another. Some may prefer a holistic approach over Western medicine. Actively listening is crucial in order to tailor these treatments to the patient.”
