Hydroquinone Even Tone Cream

To determine if Hydroquinone Even Tone Cream is appropriate for you, book a visit with a Midi Clinician. Once you’ve reviewed your medical history and current symptoms together, your clinician will advise on whether this might be a helpful addition to your skin regimen. She may also recommend additional solutions that support skin health.

• Apply a thin layer of cream to clean dry skin twice daily. Apply to both the face and the neck. Allow the product to absorb fully before applying moisturizer, sunscreen, and/or makeup.

• Avoid abruptly stopping use of this product, since this can cause rebound hyperpigmentation. During the last month of use, taper off by applying the product three times per week for two weeks, then two times per week for two weeks, before stopping completely.

Yes. Talk with your provider and/or aesthetician about any facial procedures or treatments you plan to complete. This use of this product should typically be stopped two to three days before treatment and resumed two to three days following treatment.

Yes, this product can be used on all skin tones under the direction of your Midi clinician.

• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use this product. 

• Hydroquinone is intended to treat dark spots and patches and works best if you avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen and protective clothing consistently. 

• Skin irritation, itching, redness, dryness, and flaking may occur when you first start using the product. Let your Midi clinician know if you experience side effects or if you don’t see any improvement in your skin within two months. 

• Do not use Hydroquinone Even Tone Cream if you use a benzoyl peroxide product, since the combination can cause excessive drying.

• Do not use Hydroquinone Even Tone Cream more than twice daily. Using too much hydroquinone for too long can lead to side effects, including increased pigmentation. 

• If you have a known allergic reaction to any ingredients in the cream, do not use Hydroquinone Even Tone Cream.
